Job Competency Requirement
- Develop and continually refine the company’s retail strategy to align seamlessly with overarching business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee the retail team, encompassing recruitment, training, and ongoing performance evaluations.
- Strategically manage and optimize various retail channels, including physical stores, e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and other retail outlets.
- Take full ownership of the Mobile, Branch, and E-commerce (MBE) network, upholding consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.
- Drive sales growth within the retail division through the establishment of sales targets, the implementation of innovative sales strategies, and effective collaboration with the sales team.
- Cultivate a customer-centric ethos within the retail division, prioritizing the delivery of exceptional shopping experiences and the maintenance of consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory control, tracking, and optimization to minimize stockouts and overstock issues.
- Monitor and oversee the financial performance of the retail division, encompassing budgeting, cost control, and the pursuit of revenue growth opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to strategize and execute marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at boosting sales and enhancing brand visibility.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to guarantee product availability and secure favorable terms.
- Ensure unwavering compliance with all pertinent retail industry regulations and standards.
- Any other job as assigned by the Management to support organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, MBA is an added advantage. A minimum of 8 years’ work experience with proven experience in a senior retail leadership role, with a track record of success in multi-channel retailing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of retail industry trends and emerging technologies, proficiency in retail strategy development, including sales growth and inventory management.
- Experience in managing and growing a network of retail locations or partners is highly desirable.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights for decision-making.
